Welcome, New Patients
We're glad you're considering Waterford Dental Associates for your care. Our philosophy is simple: dentistry should be individualized to you, built on cooperation and trust between you and your care team. Here's what to expect as you get started with us.
What to Expect
Every patient's mouth, history, and goals are different, so your first visit starts with getting to know you — not just your teeth. We'll review your dental and medical history, take any necessary X-rays, and complete a thorough exam before talking through a treatment plan that's built around your specific needs.
You'll have time to ask questions and understand your options at every step. There's no one-size-fits-all approach here — just a plan that makes sense for you.
Personalized Attention
Your care plan is built around your history, goals, and comfort — not a standard checklist.
Customized Treatment
Recommendations reflect what's right for your mouth and your priorities, with options explained clearly along the way.
Nervous About the Dentist? You're Not Alone.
Many patients feel some anxiety about dental visits, and that's completely normal. Dr. Cianciulli has extensive experience working with apprehensive and anxious patients, and our team works to keep the atmosphere relaxed and judgment-free. If you have concerns — whether it's a fear of needles, past experiences, or just general nerves — let us know. We're happy to talk through what will happen before we begin and go at a pace that works for you.
Your First Visit
Plan to Arrive Early
Arriving 10–15 minutes before your scheduled time gives you a chance to settle in and finish any paperwork that hasn't been completed ahead of time.
Expect a Full Exam
First visits typically include a review of your history, a comprehensive exam, and any X-rays needed to get a complete picture of your oral health.
Ask Questions
This visit is as much about us getting to know you as it is a checkup — bring your questions about treatment, comfort, or anything else on your mind.
Our Office Hours
We're open Monday–Thursday, 8am–5pm, and Friday, 8am–1pm. We're closed weekends.
